This Gite is in the sun drenched picturesque Tet Valley in Roussillon, Pyrenees Orientales, southern France, and is near the Mediterranean Sea.

In the heart of the Catalan region of south of France, and in the shadow of Mount Canigou, this spacious, well appointed gite is situated on the approach to the pretty village of Rodès. The village centre, a mere 10 minute stroll, has a restaurant and a grocery shop.

The nearest town of Ille-sur-Têt, 7 km's, has a supermarket and banks with ATM facilities. The gîte is in a superb setting, surrounded by trees, with views of the hills of the Corbières on one side and Mount Canigou on the other. The area is ideal for family holidays, bird watchers, nature lovers and walkers. Just 30 mins drive eastwards is Perpignan and the sandy beaches of the Mediterranean coast. Drive 45 mins westwards and you are in the Pyrenean skiing resorts of Font Romeu and Les Angles.

Accommodation 3 large double-sized bedrooms. Well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, oven, hob and refrigerator. French windows overlook the garden. The kitchen leads to a large, beamed lounge/dining room seating 8, and features a Wood burning fire. Tastefully furnished with traditional Basque furniture.

The Sofa converts into a comfortable bed for two additional people. Two bathrooms, one includes toilet plus there is a separate toilet. Large, sunny, south facing conservatory overlooks the swimming pool.
Linen and laundry service available. Electric heaters in each room. Ample free parking, Satellite TV and WIFI ADSL Broadband Internet access.
